Safety precautions – Code of conduct with fire

  • Tie up your hair!
  • Don’t wear scarves, caps and don’t wear loose clothes!
  • Prepare a bucket of water!
  • Keep a safety distance to the fire!
  • When using matches, check first if they are not damaged! Always strike them away from your body and immediately extinguish them after using them! Put the matches into a fireproofed bin!
  • When using a lighter, keep a short flame and light fast! Attention, the upper area is blazing hot!

We absolutely recommend that a parent or an other responsible adult observes the young people while experimenting. The adults won’t only accompany the works of the youths, the various generations will enrich their knowledge together.
